🔹 Аверс

Опис: This token represents the statue of Enguerrand III, builder of the most formidable fortified castle in Christendom. Both the castle and the present urban enclosure were built in the early 13th century. The Sires de Coucy and the Enguerrand dynasty left their mark on medieval history from the 11th to the 15th century. The fortified town had around 30 towers and 2 km of ramparts. Access was via the Chauny, Laon and Soissons gates. On the left of the token is the seal of Enguerrand III, and on the right is the tympanum of the keep door.
