🔸 Реверс

Опис: In the 2nd Century AD around 175 the Brave legion called XII Fulminata ("The Thundering Legion") under the commander "Petrinax", of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius launched a large-scale war against the tribes across the northern frontier of the empire the Marcomanni and Quadi in Czechia. They were ambushed at Medlovice valley and held for 5 days without water. The Legion were in a terrible plight from fatigue, wounds, the heat of the sun, and thirst. They could neither fight nor retreat, but were standing on the line at their several posts, scorched by the heat. When the Christian soldiers prayed, a heavy shower relieved the Romans and ultimately winning the war. This event of Faith was carved in marble in the year 196 AD. The column is still erected on today's Piazza Colonna in Rome - the victorious column of Marcus Aurelius. God saved the Roman Army from death.
